I just wondered if anyone could explain exam technique for AS Level history, I got a B at GCSE but have heard technique is different, In GCSE I used the 5 point way making 2 points and th conclusion. Anyone explain what they use for thier a levels?

No - it makes absolute sense.
Writing a good essay doesn't change - but it does perhaps gain in sophistication for A-level.
If you want to improve you technique, I would suggest two ways forward:
1. Do a forum search on
+exam +technique
and chase some of the links, and see what we have said to other people about exam technique.
2. When you get a specific essay, post a question and seek some specific advice for that essay.
Reading your post, it struck me, however, that you also would welcome comments from other forum members about A-level exam technique (??) so I have moved this to the 'discussion' section, where student replies are welcome.
Is this OK?
