If your teacher did not tell you what s/he expected you to cover and if this is a major piece of work, then I would expect that you ought to consider:

(i) the causes of the War
(ii) the main events of the war - especially on the Western Front
(iii) what it was like fighting on the Western Front
(iv) making the peace/the end of the war

So far you seem to have partly covered the causes (crises and militarism) and I guess the work on the League of Nations is part of 'making the peace'.

There is a great deal more you might write about too. Eg. Technological advances in warfare, life on the Home Front, other Fronts - eg in the Middle East, the war at sea ...... and so. But this would be a massive piece of work.

Sites you could use for information are listed on this page:

On this page are sites dealing specifically with the Origins/Causes of WWI:

and there are more sites dealing with other aspects of WWI here:

OK. So if this 'report' is imposed because you haven't been working hard enough at your course so far then I assume it is totally relevant to the GCSE course you are taking??

ie that a study of the First World War is actually something that you will be examined on at GCSE.

Assuming that is the case then your report needs to be as full as possible and my best advice is that you consult your own teacher as to what areas of the First World War you need to/should have covered as part of the Exam syallbus.

I appreciate your advice, but I do not plan to spend that much time on it because Electronics is the same case (lots of work needs doing), as you said, I will be doing this in my exam, I dont want to do the same work twice, just a genral and breif sum-up

Understood.

In that case then, focus on:
(i) the causes of the War
(ii) the main events of the war - especially on the Western Front
(iii) what it was like fighting on the Western Front
(iv) making the peace/the end of the war
