Hey

Well I got 71% in my coursework which constitutes as an A, but it only counts for 25% of the final grade
I need to know if it is possible for me to still get an A* as that is what I would really like for history.
pretty much my paper 1 and 2 combined are out of 100, and so is my C.W and edexcel say you need 80% so I am still a bit confused!

oh and I would realy like to know how to answer the questions that are 5-14, how would I go about in doing them, is there a specific website?

Thanks for the help!!

p.s I am doing Edexcel C (crime and punishment and Nazi Germany)

If I were you, apart from button-holing my teacher with essay after essay to mark, I would want to know WHY the essays were getting the marks they did.
If you can find out what gets the marks, then you can ne your answers so that they all do what is necessary to earn the marks.

If you go onto the Edexcel SHP site, you will be able to download specimen papers and markschemes.
You need to understand these, because they tell you what you need to do to reach each of the different 'levels' for each type of question.

To get an A*, you need to get consistently into the highest level for every question ... but note that you don;t need to get full marks. Just getting into the highest level is usally enough to click the 80% you need for an A*.

Of course you need just slightly better, to make up for the A grade you got in your coursework.
