Hello, sorry this is my first post but I am going to jump right in there.
I am failing history, well one side of history. I am totally stuck on the totalitarian regimes side, in all my other subjects and indeed the other side of history I am doing really well, all As and Bs, but I am at least 3 or 4 grades down in totalitarian regimes than the others. Please help me as I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I think it is the style of my essays that let me down and also I seem to struggle remembering exact figure for things like oil production etc.
I have been getting extra work and essays from my teacher and have spoke to him however they don’t seem to be doing much good.
I would be very grateful is someone could help me out or point me I the right direction as it is affecting my chances of getting the grades for university and I am extremely worried about it as it only is happening in one half of one subject.
Sorry to bother everyone and any help is much appreciated.
The course I am studying in AQA A2 History alternative J.
Thanks
Charlie

This is very sad and you will find it worrying.
I don't think, however, anyone on this forum will be able to give much help, because we don't know you or you work sufficiently well to comment on this very specific problem.
You really need to sit down with your teachers and find out why you are doign well in one area but not in the other, and only they can tell you.
If you as a pupil aren't having much joy at getting tm to do this, try getting your parents to ask for a meeting.
Where we can help is this:
Every time you get an essay on the totalitarian regimes, post on this forum and discuss the question/ask for advice.
