Thread for pupils who are sitting their exams next month.
What was your prelim grade and what are you hoping to achieve come August?
What Units are you sitting?
And is there anything you are still unsure about, maybe someone on this can sort those dates out:warning:

I'll Kick off...

Prelim Grade ~ KU 2 ES 1
SQA Grade ~ KU 1 ES 1
Unit 1 ~ Changes in Scotland and Britain - 1830s - 1930s [CONTEXT B]
Unit 2 ~ International Cooperation and Conflict - 1890s - 1920s [CONTEXT A]
Unit 3 ~ People and Power - Germany 1918 - 1939 [CONTEXT D]

Gotta admit, I'm dreading the 8 marker!

Ommmmmmg I'm dreading it ! :( I hope to god the 8 marker is in the Britain topic, they are normally so straight-forward. That, or "Why the Nazis Rose to Power"...

For my Prelim I got 97%:
KU 1
ES 1

So, I'm hoping to get the same come August, lol.

I'm doing:
  • Changing Britain & Scotland 1880-Present Day
  • International Conflict & Cooperation 1890s-1920s
  • Germany 1918-1939

I lost one mark because of the sparticist revolt thingy >< I hope something about Technology in WWI comes up too...

Hiya i just wanted to say to you that the 8 mark essay is going to be in the germany topic this year (2009). I am sitting standard grade and i have got past papers from 2000 to 2008. I have realised that they go in order so this year i promise you its going to be in the Germany topic. Hope that helps. Best of luck, i am so nervous.

It is VERY unwise to play these guessing games with questions.
Has your teacher assured you that the Board has declared that this will be the topic.
If not, then cover the possibilities.
