Hiya i was just wondering if someone can help me with the "Discuss the attitude of the author" questions, i hate them and always loose marks on them. Only got 1 week left before my history exam. Very nervous. I got a 2 for knowledge and understanding and a 2 for enquiry skills but messed my 2 marks to get a 1 in the enquiry skills which would have made my grade a overall grade for the prelim. That is what i want for my proper exam. In my school you can not do higher history if you get a 2, you need a 1. So please if someone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

OK.
So
You can see past papers from this webpage - the attitudes of the author quesitons are in Unit III.
And you can chase past marking instructions from this webpage - so you can see how the marks were given.
So one thing you can do now is look up a load of questions and then look up the markschemes.
The skill involved in this kind of question is INFERENCE - can you look at what an author has written and INFER their feelings?
Try reading this thread, which might give you some help, and there is some more here.
