A2 History Need Help! Debate On Strategic Bombing

im studying a2 history and ive been given an essay on the strategic bombing of the allied forces against germany in the years 1939 - 1945. its a question on how misguided was the strategic bombing. im really confused. i really dont know what my main themes should be in my essay :(

someone please help me

This is a debate question.

The first section of your essay will summarise and explain the main arguments FOR saturation bombing.
Most of these were made at the time.

The second section will summarise and explain the main arguments AGAINST saturation bombing.
Most of these were made after the time and, especially, recently.

Then finish with a conclusion which weighs the two side and decides on a solution to the apparent dichotomy.

The argument itself is a fairly mainline debatewhich has even made it into the newspapers, so you should find it easy enough to research the information for the two sides of the argument.

oh right its alot more simple than i thought

ive already researched about the communications between the allies,a s they seem weak in certain areas

ive also researched bomber harris in detail
