For this exam do we need to know about what happened during WW1 or WW2 for any of the papers.
E.g- War in Germany for paper 2
WW1 on Britain

Thanks!

I take it you are doing Core Content + Germany?

You do not need to know about either World War for the International Relations element of the core content.

You are correct in thinking that you DO need to know about How the coming of war changed life in Germany (specifically 'Impact of the Second World War on Germany; conversion to war economy; the Final Solution'.)

You are also correct in thinking that yo DO need to know about Britain in World War One for the British Depth Study:

Quote

How did women contribute to the war effort?
How were civilians affected by the war?
How effective was government propaganda during the war?

Specifically:
Women in employment during the First World War, the 1918 Representation
of the People Act. Recruiting. New government powers: the Defence of the Realm Act, 1914,
conscription, rationing, use of propaganda, and their impact on civilian life
.
