i'm having a lot of trouble with this unit. cant seem to get about abouts a D in essays which is really stressing me out, especially as my exam is on thursday. how can i revise it? i dont really know how to answer the question either and my teacher is useless, she just goes 'you need to argue both sides of the argument' which i KNOW already but obviously i'm doing plenty of other things wrong as well! please can someone help as i'm so worried about this exam and i really need an A if i want to get into a decent uni!
thank you.x

Looking at the exam paper for 2007, it strikes me that this is all fairly simple stuff.

The first question is a basic analytical question. You will find advice on how to answer this kind of question in this thread.

The second question ('how far') is easiest answered in a thesis-antithesis-synthesis way. You will find advice on how to answer this kind of question in this thread.
(You also may find the answer to this thread useful)

Just don't forget to mention ALL the named sources in your answer at least somewhere along the way!

Look at the markscheme for the paper and the examiners' reports (as in your other thread) to see what the examiner was looking for.

Thank you so much! They were very helpful. Now, I'll hopefully be able to answer a question without panicking!
