[I've moved this to Student Discussion, jennzie - thought it was more appropriate there.]
Oooo yes - hooray, hooray holidays.
Teachers enjoy them just as much as pupils do, you know
Thank you to everyone for their lovely posts and questions.
And what a lovely question asking everyone what year they will be going into next year.
You can tell that you are genuinely looking forward to next year!
Next year I will be in my last year as a teacher.
Hopefully, all being well, I will be retiring next year.

It looks as if everyone else is too busy thinking about the holidays to reply!
You don't strike me as someone who is worried about working hard. So, yes, the work will be harder in Year 9, but you will be working at a higher level and finding out how far you can go. Think carefully about your GCSE choices and I hope you get the ones you want. Obviously I am not going to try to influence you, but it would be a pity if someone as interested as you didn't consider History...
