Cottage Industry And Domestic System In Industrial Revolution

please can someone give me a detailed resource on the cottage industry in the Industrial Revoltion in the 1800s please. this would really help!!

Thank you very much. I tried google but it mainly came up with websites to advertise the sale of cottages. Thank you again!!

That is one of the problems of google. If you put in
cottage industry
It lists you all the sites with the two words in. What you have to do is add terms which define more closely exactly what you want. It also helps if you put inverted comas round words which need to go together (ie "cottage industry"), for example:
"cottage industry" "industrial revolution"
or:
"cottage industry" 1750
to force the search engine to report only the results which are relevant to your study.

Another name for the domestc system is 'the putting out system'. This was the name they all used when I was at school; t has fallen somewhat into disuse now.
