Would any of you lovely people have any idea of which Universities currently run good History and Politics departments?
And also, what are some good books about Russian history, particularly 1800s leading up to the revolutions (1904-1917)?
I know a bit, but more general titles would be easier for me, with A2s on the go as well.
Thanks.

Russia. My favourite.
Okay I've just found all my Russia books that I used for my Int2, most of these are based for A Level and A2 level students. Some of these are old and might be a bit hard to track down.
Heinemann Advanced History - Jonatahn Bromley - Russia 1848-1917 ( Awesome book, definetly worth finding ! )
Heinemann Advanced History - Steve Phillips - Lenin and the Russian Revolution ( Another excellent book, but its based from 1917 onwards. )
Heinemann Secondary History Project - Nigel Kelly - Russia and the USSR 1905 to 1956
The Archive Series - F.W. Stacey - Lenin and the Russian Revolutions
Standard Grade History - David Armstrong - People and Power : Russia ( A bit simple to read, in my opinion its not got enough coverage for A2 or A level )
Collins Living History - Alan White - Russia and the USSR 1905 to 1991
Thats all the books that I used to study Russia on ( this is considering I wrote an extended responce on Russia ). I've also got pdf versions of textbooks and key revision notes that were really good, Im just not sure where they are and Im not sure how to put them onto the forum.
Hope this helps
