I need to know a bit about factory life in the 17-1800's (18-19th century). If anyone can help I would be very grateful. Thanks everyone, xxx

There used to be nothing on this on the web, but things are getting better recently.

There is loads on Spartacus - go halfway down this page and you will find lots of fabulous links, plus original documents as well.

There is also this classic, fabulous google book of original documents by E Royston Pike.

Brief, but quite hard, summary on wikipedia.

This looks interesting, though very hard for school-pupils.
