 i need some help...

i am doing an essay on the industrial revolution and cant find any info :/

so i came to this site and it helped loads :)

i am using PEE [ point, evidance, explain] to help me plan my paragraphs out but am stuck on the explain part

the paragraph is about trading.

please can you help me this is what ive done so far ...

One reason why the industrial revolution started in the 18th century was becasue britain had helpful resorces, such as cotton, and had enough to start trading therefore they did and started to earn alot of money. They started trading because britain is an island so it is easier to got to that other countries in the world.

Thank youu x

All right... I assume that the question you have been set is something like 'Why did the Industrial Revolution start in the 18th Century?' Now trading can mean trading within Britain or with other countries. I can give you some ideas, but obviously I can't write your essay for you.

1. As you probably know, Britain's population increased rapidly during the 18th century. What effects did this have for people making and selling goods?
2. Improvements in production during the Industrial Revolution (e.g. the Factory system) meant that goods could be produced more cheaply in Britain than before. Did this make it easier or more difficult to sell things abroad?
3. Once trade with other countries began to increase and successful merchants (traders) started making lots of money, what did more and more manufacturers decide to do?

I hope that this helps. Well done for using P.E.E. However, next time (and I know it's not always possible) try not to leave it this late to ask for help!
