Using the forum properly - nuisance posts Imperial Russian Awards With Soviet Uniforms

Hi

If we look at official portraits of Soviet marshals of the USSR, we can see that if the Marshal CCCP is pictured with dress uniform or the 1945 victory parade uniform, we can identify Russian imperial awards, among awards from other countries.

Do anyone have an idea about the regulations concerning display of imperial awards on Soviet uniforms?

Do they have ribbons for the imperial awards, on the "fruit salad" (when the marshal used his everyday uniform)?

You will find the answer on the military forum from which you took the question, where it was asked in March 2002 by a member called Tal Inbar.

This kind of nuisance post is outrageous, really, because it takes our time away from helping the members who genuinely wish Help with their History.

And, seeing as all posts are moderated, NONE of them ever see the light of day; they (and their poster's membership) are simply immediately deleted.

SO let's use the forum as it was intended, eh?
;)
