Question On The Beginning On The Cold War :/

Hi there,
I am currently doing the IB program and I am taking History at Higher level, I am busy with my last year now.

I was answering some Source-Based questions and I think I answered them pretty well untill the last question, which I need some help with.

I have to comment on the validity of the assertion that 'the Cold War did not arise out of malicious intent, but as the result of two sides being unable to understandthe legitimate concerns of each other.'

it's a 12 point question and all the questions put together are 50 points, so I want to answer this question well and yeah I am not asking anyone to answer this question for me, I just want some good facts about the beginning of the Cold War so I can answer this question.
