For my GCSE coursework i have to answer a sufficincy question but I'm not sure about the structure of it. Should i still include the standard kind of introduction? (i.e. in this essay i will be invsetigating...)

Thanks

I provide a framework structure for a sufficiency questions in this thread of the forum, specifically in this post.

We are not really supposed to help with coursework - it could be construed as cheating - but if this is way off mark, you might want to get back with a supplementary question. We can comment on general issues - we just can't give you specific help with your particular coursework question.

As for how to start the essay, you must do what your opwn teacher advises.
I always taught my own pupils to 'plough straight in', but I know that many teachers like their puipls to start off with an introduction saying what they intend to do.

You don't need to do introductions at GCSE.. just wastes words and gets you little or no marks.

Even in AS exams, you can get 24/24 in an essay without an introduction.
