I have 2 exams coming up this year history and I need help when identifying what type of question it is, because I assume everything is factors question. Will someone please explain the differe question and how i should answer them?

Mr. Clare is very good at this sort of thing. However, if you could let me know your board (AQA, OCR, Edexcel?) and (ideally) which papers you are sitting, I will have a go.

there is something general on essay questions here, although it doesn't deal with sourcework questions.
But Mr Bryant is right. If you tell us your Board and specification, we can direct you to some very specific help about the individual types of question you will meet.
