Hi . I know that Oliver Cromwell was accused of being a tyrant because he forced through the death warrant of Charles 1 but how did it make him a tyrant?
Please help me I need help for the essay I'm writing and its in for Tuesday

First, ypu need to find what a 'tyrant' is - google 'define tyrant' and find out.
Then you need to think whether taking part in the execution of Charles I made Cromwell a 'tyrant'.
Personally, I don't think that one act - however cruel - makes someone a 'tyrant'. It is the way they rule over a long period of time.
If you read about Cromwell's period of rule, you may think that he WAS a tyrant - many people do.
