Just wondering if anyone knows any information about the cultural revolution in china, and how it had affected them in a long or short term.... it'll be cool if anyone does, just give us a yell!

Is this just a 'general interest' question, Lise? Are you looking for people's personal experiences of the Cultural Revolution? If so I will leave it in this 'Student historical discussion' section.
If what you are really looking for is help with school work, then I will move it into the 14-16 age group section (ie for GCSE students.
Do let us know .

A wonderful collection of Chinese posters from the 'Cultural Revolution' period.
Another really good collection of posters from a brilliant site about Russian, Cuban and Chinese propaganda called 'The Chairman Smiles'.
There is a good, detailed article here
Do be aware that this period of Chinese history is highly controversial and much of what appears on the Internet is very biased.
