Wouldn't it be great if you could sit in a staffroom with dozens of History teachers from all over the UK (plus many from overseas) and discuss teaching and learning with them?
Wouldn't it be great if you could ask them to share with you any ideas they have about teaching?
Wouldn't it be great if you could ask these History teachers to give you some help with any problems you might be having from lesson planning, to classroom control, to parents, to interpreting the National Curriculum or GCSE syallbi to ....... well quite frankly to anything that you need to know or discuss?
... this is
the History Teachers' Discussion Forum.
This Teachers' section of the SchoolHistory.co.uk website provides links and information specifically relevant to history teachers [see below]. This section is currently being developed further.
The History Teachers' Discussion Forum is the most dynamic area of this entire website. The internationally recognised discussion forum provides a fantastic place for history teachers to discuss all aspects of history teaching.

You do not have to join the forum to read the information, but you have to register to actually join in the discussion. It is well worth doing so - as current members have explained.

The
Seminars section contains an extensive list of
key teaching and learning discussions across a whole range of relevant topics. Each seminar is a formal discussion that is ideal for history teachers' continuing professional development.
As this page is redeveloped the following sections will be extended and integrated into the new design. They have been left here to allow access while the redevelopment continues:
