| The QCA
guidelines for the Images of an Age topic, suggest that, "individually
or in pairs or small groups, design a portrait of a specific
individual. The intention is not to draw a likeness, but to
include coded messages that the individual or an artist would
wish to be understood by people viewing the portrait". The following five resources, created by Mr Drew, draw on people from history who pupils should have studied by Year 8, so should have sufficient knowledge to complete the task in depth. |
