At
the end of the summer term in 2001, I was invited to take part in the
Multiversum project. As part of the Cambridgeshire involvement I was
asked to use ICT in my class teaching to evaluate and examine the impact
and use of ICT.
I
decided to use ICT with one Year 8 history set during the Autumn term.
My aim was to use ICT to deliver the
history lessons as much as possible and then get the students to create
a website at the end of the term.
In
this section I will explain how they managed to produce the site you
are now looking at and the aspects of the project I am pleased with. Together
with this I also shall examine the aspects of the project that have caused difficulty and consequently
improvements I shall make when attempting similar projects in the future.
